The ongoing summer transfer saga involving Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) shows no signs of resolution, as recent reports indicate that the club has delivered a clear message to the player: should he continue with the Parc des Princes outfit, he will not step onto the pitch throughout the upcoming season.

Mbappe conveyed his decision to PSG, revealing his intention not to extend his contract, which is set to expire in a year. This strategic move would grant him the opportunity to switch to a different club on a free transfer, as per his preference.

In response to Mbappe’s stance, PSG issued an ultimatum, presenting him with the choice to either finalize a contract extension by the conclusion of July or be transferred during the current summer window. Notably, Mbappe has refrained from committing to a new agreement.

The ongoing impasse has led PSG to notify Mbappe that he will be sidelined for the entire duration of matches should he opt to remain with the club, according to a report by Goal.com.

In a bid to navigate the situation, PSG has actively listed Mbappe for sale, recently approving a substantial $300 million bid from Saudi Arabia. However, the player unequivocally declined a move to the Middle East, instead signaling his intent to honor his existing contract with PSG.

It is worth noting that Mbappe’s PSG contract encompasses a loyalty bonus, a provision that would come into effect should he fulfill his commitment to the club. Moreover, if he ultimately transitions to another team on a free transfer, it is widely anticipated that he would secure a substantial signing bonus as part of the arrangement.
